Forms of Payment Not Accepted
Cash
We do not accept cash at any Jefferson Radiology location. This policy was adopted after the COVID-19 pandemic and in alignment with Joint Commission standards and other regulatory guidance. It helps reduce health risks and enhance the safety of both patients and staff.
Money Orders & Cashier’s Checks
We do not accept money orders or cashier’s checks as these forms of payment are processed differently than personal checks and do not contain necessary banking details such as routing or account numbers. In addition, cashier’s checks have no inherent value limit, which could result in entry errors and patient risk. To ensure secure and accurate transactions, these payment types are not accepted.
CareCredit
Jefferson Radiology does not accept CareCredit cards. CareCredit is a third-party healthcare credit card with financing options. While some healthcare providers accept it, Jefferson Radiology does not participate in the CareCredit program.
