At Jefferson Radiology, we’re honored to be part of Strike Out Cancer Night, an enduring tradition in partnership with the Hartford Yard Goats that unites our community in the fight against cancer. Every year, we come together to raise awareness, support patients, and fund critical research. From exciting baseball games to heartfelt ceremonies, these events highlight our collective strength and commitment to making a difference.
2024 Highlights:
In 2024, we elevated our Strike Out Cancer in a Cape event, celebrating the incredible strength of cancer fighters as true superheroes. This year, attendees wore capes and received exclusive superhero-themed pins, creating an inspiring and powerful atmosphere. The highlight of the night was the grand prize—a coastal getaway—offering a perfect blend of celebration, support, and recognition for our community’s everyday heroes.

In 2023, Strike Out Cancer Night took on a heroic theme with “Strike Out Cancer in a Cape,” celebrating cancer fighters as true heroes. Attendees received capes and superhero-themed pins, adding to the empowering atmosphere. The grand prize was a gift certificate to Cape Cod, making it a night of inspiration and support for our community’s real-life superheroes.

In 2022, Strike Out Cancer Night featured a special dual-theme, combining the excitement of Strike Out Cancer with a lively Country Night. The grand prize was a pair of Carrie Underwood concert tickets, making it an unforgettable evening of music, community, and support for a great cause.
2021 Highlights:
In 2021, Strike Out Cancer Night offered an exciting grand prize: a gift certificate to Airbnb for a dream getaway, along with a themed basket, adding a touch of adventure and fun to the event.
2019 Highlights:
In 2019, Strike Out Cancer Night featured a hot air balloon ride giveaway as the main prize, along with a balloon artist who created fun balloon designs for the kids who attended making the event memorable for all ages.
2018 Highlights:
Jefferson Radiology, in partnership with the Hartford Yard Goats, sponsored “Strike Out Cancer Night” on August 23rd 2018. The sold out event was a great success and engaged the community to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.
